I just bought the coolest crab I have ever seen. But I have not been able to figure out exactly what he is.. He has the shape of a small arrow with the pointy head but his body is hairy like a teddy bear crab I will try to get better pics but any ideas would be helpful thanx everyone

Stenorhynchus. disapearis.
What are we looking at ?
From your description it could be a species of Stenorhynchus but without a much better pic and with thousands of species of crabs we'd be guessing and even with a perfect picture we still might be guessing.

Well I see it but its pretty blurry. It may be a decorator arrow with some type of algea on it. A friend of mine has one that stuck hair algea to its self and is pretty much invisable now.

That's a little bit better but unfortunately I can't see many details.
Does your crab look like this?:

Sort of but different look at the difference in the claw shapes in the second pic I showed you can see they are more hooked. I have another pic no flash this time  Much clearer so take a look and tell me what you think some what like the arrow yet very different :!:

Sort of, but he doesn't have the candy stripes and his claws are more curved like hooks. I don't know I guess It doesn't matter he is in the tank eats worms and leaves everyone alone so what the hell just thought he looked cool and was curious the last pic is close but he is a yellowish color not dark like an arrow. thanx again here is one more pis of the little guy

There are quite a number of specimens that are described as decorator arrows or spider crabs that come from different regions of the world. Most of which, will just have the genus name. Another recent discovery was an Atlantic arrow crab Stenorhynchus Yangi, but you'll be hard pressed trying to find a picture.
