Coralife Vho question

hello i recently purchased a used vho setup for a 4 lamp vho set up, when i hook up all the bulbs, and power up unit it flickers for a second and then does nothing, i was just testing the unit with no bulbs, but would this make a difference? thanks for the replys?

Try double checking all of your electrical connections, including where the bulbs fit in, to be sure they are clean and not corroded.
