Hello. I bought a tank (30 gallon cube, Oceanic) many months ago to replace my current nano. I was planning on drilling holes into it for a intank overflow, and just as I was finally ready to begin setting it up, I decided to email Oceanic to make sure it wasn't tempered glass.
Turns out it is tempered. Not only is the bottom is tempered, but the sides are all tempered too. Needless to say, I wish I emailed them before I bought it, but still I'm stuck in something of an annoying situation.
Are there any options other than a hang-on siphon overflow? I'd love to still use this tank; afterall, it is a beautiful looking tank, but I'll never trust a siphon. If a hang-on I must have, then what kind is the "best," or at least the "most reliable?" CPR? Life-Reef? Other?
Thanks.
