I "worked" 6hrs/wk
got a decent discount
and first dibs on all the livestock

it was the easiest job I ever had

no, but I did clean the skimmers

ok, I worked at the LFS for 6 hrs a week for 3 years.
Got paid for crap (min wage) and never asked for a raise.
It was my part time/fun job
the only benifit was a small discount and freebies from reps.

I got fired for not working enough hours.
(I already have a full time job that takes 50-60 hrs a week)

I was just venting, and sorry for confusing all

If I worked at a LFS I would get fired for telling people the truth about why they shouldn't buy 10 fish and 8 corals now to put in their new tank they just bought from me!

I worked at an excellent shop and was expected to do that. The owner didn't want people buying fish to replace the deads. He was very supportive as an employer.
