They extend polyps which are short... no sweepers usually unless something is very close to them. They don't attack their own genus it appears.

so your tellin me theres about £2000 worth of coral in that tank, thats crazy. I wondered why id never seen any of those about in the LFS shops over here. I did get a two polyop colony for free, but they died because the little branch they were growing on kept getting knocked off the rocks by my clown fish.

Damn, i defenately had two polyops of one of those i got free, it was a bit extra that came in with a shipment, wish id managed to keep it.
