Hello

I have been using the Panasonic square pin bulbs for awhile, but have had a hard time finding them.
recently got one Hamilton PC 10K, and an actinic O3 from HelloLights. Both are good.

Was seeing some on Ebay called Iridium was wondering if anyone has heard of them?

What are youf favorite brand and color temp of PC lights for your reef.
There is a sale on some 7100K bulbs 65w for $9 out there! was wondering if it was worth getting, or sticking with actinic 03s

Thanks

I use Panasonic myself. I believe Marine Depot has them regularly. I like these bulbs.

Sorry, never heard of Iridium. There seems to be a lot of rebranded tubes, so I wouldn't be surprised it's made by someone else :) Hamilton is a rebrander.

I use 10,000K and true actinics exclusively.

You know, I usually just buy whatever PC bulb I can find the cheapest, I have never had trouble with any of them.

I get the 10,000K. I think the 7100K would be too yellow and even balanced out with actinics it might be tough to get a nice color of light in the tank.

I use the square-pin 10K and 03 bulbs from Hellolights. I have been real happy with them. They last about 10 months, aren't ridiculously expensive, and I get decent soft coral growth.

The one that I can tell you to avoid are the JBJ brand PC's. They're notorious for having poor quality. When I had PC's, Jalli (straight pin) was my favorite.
