Here's a picture of one of my supposed tunicates (could be a sponge) that decided to colonize the tube in my HOB refugium.

Sorry about the quality of the photo; there's algae growing on the insides of the HOB (isn't that the whole point?), and my image processing skills aren't great...

Those of you with sharp eyes will notice the {amphi/cope/iso}pod hanging out at the base of the tunicate (or is it sponge?).

From what I can tell by that pic that would be a member of Porifera ( sponge).
I'm not even gonna guess on the pod as I can hardly make it out. :)

That IS a sponge-one of those white lyso thingies.When i took off my old fiter and cleaned it out i found several hundred thousand of them inside. They grow en masse, but they are helpufl and kinda cool. 8O :D
