Glossodoris averni?

Alainul, do you live only to play this game? :D

Terry, this one is way more tricky than the slam-dunk baby trigger!

hello with all

I think of Glossodoris sedna

It's definitely Glossodoris laying eggs. I'm not sure about the species.

How about you and John taking a crack at the Tridacna shrimp, shown in my editorial, that appeared in Bruce Davidson's pet store. I don't have a clue.

Terry, where was this photo taken? We could at least eliminate certain species based on range.

G. sedna is from the Eastern Pacific (Galapagos, Baja, etc.)

G. averni ranges from at least the Great Barrier Reef to the Philippines and basically looks like this...

Galapagos John? 8O You've got me repeating myself now

Yes Gresham, the Galapagos. Alainul's guess (G. sedna) is from the Galapagos and other Eastern Pacific areas (Baja, probably Central America and Northern SA). I had already assumed it was taken in Indonesia because of the dark substrate - it was a hunch. I guessed G. averni which should be found in this area.

Whoops, I read Terrys post about the shrimp and confused it with the G sedna post. I thought it was an aquarium shot of the G sedna, hence, Galapagos? Aquarium and Galapagos usually are never in the same paragraph, unless your talking public aquarium :) I wasn't knocking your ID John, your light years ahead of me on that train!

Glossodoris cruentis?

This species is characterized by red spots which are missing in the photographed animal.

When i die i wanna come back as one of those.

I hope you don't mind a very short lifespan. Do nudibranchs dream of coming back as tortoises? :D
