Cleaner Shrimp Breeding...

I noticed my scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp has been unusually shy today, and I just noticed why: hundreds of eggs on the underside of her tail. Has anyone seen these breed before? Can I get these little guys to live?

yeah it is very common. Chances are none will survive. They usually become fish food.

Several of the lysimata cleaner shrimps are hermaphroditic - your species I don't remember off the top of my head.
If you named her 'Reginald' you might not have to change the name.

Can you move them to the fuge to give the babes a shot? Or are they pod food once they are born?

I believ the larvea must be kept in a seperate tank all together and be feed with phyo/rotifers to even have a chance. I do think they are hermaphrodites tho...and you should see them all getting pregnant.
