The only cure is to rip the tank apart If you find your hands uncontrollably try to touch the dismantled equipments, then try stick them into the meat grinder and go see a shrink.

BTW, my shrink gave up hope on me.

The Fish that also has been a innahabitant in my reef (Blue Morpho Tang) alas "Big Blue" has captured everybodys heart also been with us for 8 years. I do not know how many times he's been out in the hospital tank for ick, but just does not want to give up! When my hands are in the tank again it rubs up with mine! He has been in Super bowl squares, keeps law and order! How long do these fish really live? My African Grey even calls out it's name "Big Blue" and visitation is necessary to appease the bird. Lets put it this way Even the fish and corals need petting from time to time except the bristle worms!

I think normal is a realitive term.

My wife says "Geez.. get your hands out of there! You've been tinkering for an hour!"

Its about at that point that my hands come out of the aquarium.

Ding Dong the witch is DEAD!

Rule #1 In this hobby everything in the tank cost 20$ or lets just say look what grew here? Yes they can buy there expensive shoes, why cant I buy expensive clam, etc. Is it bad behavior? No I think not and it's not abnormal behavior. Mabye addiction!

I'm with you spsmike. I don't do a lot of rearranging, but I still spend a fari amount of time with my hands in the tank. Mostly spot feeding, oh, yeah and glass cleaning. I've been doing this for seven years and I still haven't made the leap to a magnet style scraper.
