If you frag a frag, will it survive? Or is there a certain size that a coral should be in order to obtain healthy frags? :D

Just my experience but Im growing out a monti cap that started smaller than a pinky nail (about 10" in diameter now!). About half a dozen acros I grew out started from about the size when you break the tip of you pencil. When I had my nano I collected a majority of acros from the bottom of tanks at the LFS, broken off while they were stocking, bagging, etc... Ive done this same thing with tiny pieces of galaxea, blastomussa wellsi, and even if I saw one little lone zoo polyp growing on the sand bed at the LFS I'll ask them If they will sell it for $2. Suprisingly the zoo polyps are the most difficult to take, It seems most take when there are at least 3 or more together. Its taken a year to see what you really end up with but I can say I save a couple hundred dollars with the number of things Ive grown out from tiny pieces.
