Current inhabitants:

1- Centropyge ari (argus angel)

1- False percula

1- Cleaner shrimp (skunk-striped)

4- Scarlet hermits

Thinking of a yellow or blue assessor, but looking for other options as well. Keeping in mind that anything added the Argi may have a opinion about.

The first rule of keeping an argi, he should ALWAYS be the last fish added.
Almost anything you add at this point is likely to run into trouble. My choice would be P. fridmani if you could remove the angel for a day or two while he acclimates.

I believe this Argi is unique in its behavior. Has not exhibited any territorail activity towards anything at this point. Although he may not look at the percula as a percieved threat. From what I have witnessed at this point though, he is one of the most timid one's out there.

Cool. 8) I would try a little fridmani then, or a pair! They work great in pairs.

I should add though that I wouldn't count on this timid behavior continuing forever. Despite what you've witnessed so far, the addition of a new fish might still cause a problem, depending on how long you wait and how established the argi becomes. Then again, you may just have a very unusual specimen. :)

Hmm, a sixline or mystery wrasse might be scrappy enough to put up with a little initial aggression. If you want something yellow a Halichoeres chrysus could work too.

I don't really know how the assessors would work out. They're very peaceful themselves, but kind of shrug off aggression directed at them as well.

I second the sixline idea. Mine was great and able to hold his own, until he went carpet surfing. :( Make sure if you get a wrasse to add a lid. Fridmani's are cool too.

how about a orchid pseudochromis? they are captive bred, and very colorful, and the captive bred ones are not too aggressive.

oh, mike suggested it already! i second it!
