Most bristle worms are good guys to have. They will help dispose of leftover food that your fishes miss.

The big caution with them is you don't want to touch them as the spines stick in your skin, and it really makes my skin itch like crazy.

Do bristle worms crawl along the side of glass at night too? Or can they I guess.

A couple of nights ago I couldn't sleep, was walking by and saw what I thought was a scratch in the glass. Stopped to look and this scratch was hauling butt across the glass. Popped on the flashlight and it took off down towards the bottom, but looked like a white centipeede lookin thing.

Yes they can and do quite frequently. I've had smaller ones sucked into powerheads. Use a red lens flashlight and you'll be amazed at the critters that come out at night. :)

People used to be afraid of bristle worms, but now their considered beneficial by most. Most detrivore kits include them and some online companies will actually sell them to you. Bottom line: no worries.
