Trust me I am all for CB corals and love to trade frags and spread my specimens to as many systems as possible over the years. How long a coral live in the wild isnt always as long as you may think. Sure some massive brain corals may be very old but I thought I remembered reading in Bornemans Aquarium corals book that wild corals average life span was closer to 7 years. Of course anemone's are a different story.
In anycase I dont want to sound like I am argueing so don't take it that way, as I agree with you. Anyone encouraging all tank raised gets a thumbs up from me. Hopefully more and more will become available to us CB. Or more island based aquaculture facilitys will open. A carribean based one would be nice to help re-populate wild reefs and offer new types of corals to aquarist.
All well, Happy Holidays everyone!
