Ok, I wasnt able to find this anywhere, so I thought Id just toss it out there...

Whats the smalles species of smasher-type mantis shrimp? Also, the most colorful/coolest of the smaller varieties? I remember reading something about the different species from Florida and even the South Pacific, but my memory fails me yet again... :(

I think I am going for the mantis gold... Theyre just so freaking awesome, and theres almost no fish of any significance or interest that would fit in a 10G AGA...

Thanks in advance, oh mantis people! :)

Nothing? My thanks in vain, my question idle, my intent surplus to relevance and validity? My quest not worthy? :(

Now this is in vain since Dewr is no longer with us however i will answer, the N. Wennerae is one of the smaller species not getting much over 2in along with G. Smithii...my N. Wennerae is housed in a 5.5 gallon tank with a small percula clown and a choco starfish..all is peaceful...the neat thing is that my mantis couldnt eat the large turbos i had since she/he isnt strong enough to shatter the shells...i have yet to attempt a hermit crab with it to see if it could penetrate a hermits shell...FWIW

To say the least  you missed it Hwarang, probably cuz youre smart and stay away from the sump...I wont get into detail since but he kinda was inappropriate towards mgt of RDO...There have been a few permenant bans lately for uncivil conduct and ill leave it at that...

this is some i no off hand. N.wenn, G.platy, G.ternn, O.S, G.chigara, G. smithi, G.oerstedii, P.ciliata then you have the more uncommon ones like H. glyptocercus, G. falcuatus, G. glabrous hope that helps.
