I have 110 PC and 112 florescent on a 55 g if I set the clam on the top of the tank and brain coral at bottom of tank will it work out ;some say yes but I want more opinions :?:

It should work just fine. Brain corals really don't need much light (none of the many species I know demand it). The clam should do just fine too.

I had almost the same setup on my 55 and my maxima is doing good close to the top. had him for about a year now.

I would give the clam to your friend who has all the light your clam needs besides, you killed his other clam.
