MH pendants

Hi all:

Been looking for lights for some time--- I have a 30g Oceanic Cube-- I would like to get a pendant with metal halide and fluorescents--- but that seems very hard to find and is in the $350+ price range---

saw these on e-bay $200 seems reasonable--even the 225 shipped.

Anyone have a great Metal halide combo unit to recomend- is it worth it?

Would this be a unit I could be happy with?-- Not really going for SPS- but still think I need more than the 96W 50/50 i now run.

I'm very happy with the custom hood they made for me last year. They made it specific to my needs and is very good quality. I'm not sure about the bulb, as I've never ordered bulbs from them before.

Seems like a great fit for your 30g cube. Eventually, you'll get bit by the SPS/clam bug :wink: . I'd perhaps call and find out what the price is without the bulb.

I'd consider a Sunlight Supply pendant or a PFO pendant. Bell pendants have really poor reflectors and you aren't going to be getting your money's worth for the electricity used. For a bit more, you'll get a far better pendant system with the Sunlight or PFO.

Good point. Explains why I've seen LFS dumping their bell pendants, lately.
