teardrop clam

good morning guys and girls. here is a pic of a beautiful teardrop clam we have in our shop. we have had him for about 2 weeks , and i wanted to wait until we sold him before i posted a pic because i don't want anyone to think that i am trying to drum up business. we are local here in chesterfield va. and it is only 2 of us so we really don't have time to mail order stuff. i just really wanted to share a pic of this cool looking clam. he has a live oyster on his shell and it opens when he does. the teardrop is about 8 inches across his shell and the oyster is about 2 inches. i thought he really looked wierd with the oyster.the oyster is at the upper right.

nice clam.. you get a lot of clams? works for me, if i were around the area, i'd def stop by..
places around here don't get much clams...

we get clams almost every week. we also have a derasa that is about 14 inches, awesome clam.and we have a small teardrop that looks like the one i bought. and 3 croceas.
