What is the best way to ship a Clam? Does it have to go overnight or can it go 2nd day. I want to sell my clam and will probably require shipping.

I would NOT risk a clam to 2nd day shipping. Go overnight.

2nd day is OK for zoanthids, macroalgae and soft corals when the weather is moderate, but clams are more sensitive and I think it would be too great a risk.

I agree. Ship overnight, submersed. I've had some clams arrive dry and make it, but it's not something I'd ever risk purposefully.

You can get away with it with some coral, but not for clam unless it is for food purpose...

Exactly how would a maxima taste? 8O

Some people eat them, they are supposed to be very good raw.

Islanders eat Gigas clams all the time.....A Maxima would be no different.
Just for us its a hell of a lot more costly.
