^^ can I take this as a no!

When I do a search, I get some things like "hood fits Perfecto and O'dell". Wonder if they were bought by Perfecto?

Need a top and bottom trim piece for their 110g.

My first marine tank was an O'Dell... when I was back in Canada, and back in the mid 80s!

They used to be right around the corner from where I am now, in Canton, GA... in fact I service an O'Dell tank built for its owner in 1973 - thing will last forever but might need new silicone in a few more years!

They employed a lot of people here - I wasn't around then but some of my customers' relatives worked there.

They moved to Tennesee at some point (late 80s maybe?) and I don't know what happened after that.

Little aquarium trivia for ya... ;)

That's what I need to know - maybe I'll call Perfecto, cause I'm rebuilding a tank and need top and bottom trim.

Thanks - Rick

Heres some info I found

some years ago, Mr. O'Dell, the founder, sold the company and the
aquariums have gotten much "cheaper" in construction. I actually saw one
in a petshop that had no silicon on on of the back panes, just a large
gaping opening running from top to bottom of the tank. Appaerntly no one
noticed this before it was shipped and niether did the store owner.

Mr. O'Dell has a new company called Midwest Aquarium. tank quality is
great, but the molding leaves a little to be desired. They sold us
several hundred of their 50 gal. breeder tanks for our hatchery and they
have held up great. They even survived the Northridge earthquake here a
couple of years ago, not a crack or leak at all.
