I'm not sure what kind of damsel it is, but he was swimming in my rose bulb anemone just like a clownfish, though it wasn't quite as vigorous. I know clownfishes are damselfishes but I didn't think any other damsels had that ability. This was before my two false perculas had started swimming in it, but now one of the percs chases away the black damsel.

Its a Dascyllus trimaculatus, commonly known as a Domino damsel or Three spot. I have heard of them being hosted, but never saw it myself. Guess it is possible. Good Luck with him, but I heard they get aggressive.

Domino or Hawaiian 3 spot damsel, both the same fish. Kinda feisty and mean when they get older as well. These have been known to associate with some anemones.

Yeah he is a little agressive but my chromis' are quicker and just get out of his way if he starts to chase them, and the clowns just ignore him, except when he tries to go near the anemone and then he gets snapped at.
