The zoanthid toxins must have gone to my brain because I've recently been twitterpated by them. Some of these have been recently named by a "professional zoanthid namer" hehe. Tell me what you think. If you have any cool zoa pics please share. :D

OK. I'm impressed, not only by the zoos, but by the pics too. :)
Well done.

I currently only have one type. 5 years or so ago I had nice pinks, blues, you name it. I traded them all away and never figured they would become such a craze in the future. I think these are pretty common and already have some sort of name.

P.S. You gotta get that nice orange one in the background of the second picture going, that will be an awesome colony.

Mine are under 250 watt halides, 10k ushio with 96 watt PC's. I got a few polyps in a trade down in delaware a few years ago. Theres lots a places to get some. I have a small frag of mine growing out right now but its to cold here now to termos trade but in the spring if your still looking, shoot me an email.

FWIW, theres tons of zooanthid keepers out there and some will still be willing to go thermos trading.

Ben, great pick. Those are pretty close to what they're calling Eagle Eyes. I actually have a bunch of those orange ones too. They were my first so I never think they're all that special but everyone wants them.

Matt, mine are under a single 250 watt 20k XM in a 30 cube. My 180 is in the garage waiting for the new house to be done so I setup the cube to maintain sanity for the time being. ;) I did a bunch of thermos trading recently so have a lot of cool small frags to grow out over the winter. Come spring I'll be going crazy with that priority mail.

so would the super bright guys lose coloring under just PC?

Most likely IMO. Although some of the orange seems to hold it's color and shine well under VHO and such. The blues with green skirts actually look better under 10k halides than the 20k.

Less light usually will give less intense color. But by no means do they look terrible. Less current the longer they usually grow away from the rock.

Those look awesome!

Now I hate you because must have some. Are these commonly carried by the LFS or is there a great place to order them from on-line

Well, the Kiwi Krush came in on some live rock, I don't think anyone has any like these but I could be wrong. The 2nd and 3rd I got from the LFS here and they had more of each. The 4th I got from a local reefer and I think he ordered them from somewhere online.
