My anemone looks all distorted, contorted and generally discombobulated (is that a word?). Some guy at my LFS said it looked like it was splitting. I thought LTA's reproduced sexually - not asexually. Here are some pics I took over the past few days. Any help would be great!

Oh yeah, My info can be found here.

looks like it's trying to get comfy,,,,, mine will not stay still unless it's foot is buried firmly in the sand under a rock with just the tentacles sticking out.

Generally you see BTA splitting, but it is possible that others types will do it as well. I agree though it doesnt look like it is splitting.

How often and what do you feed it?

It looked as if it was croaking!
Looked like it was dieing, I almost tossed it....
All of a sudden while watching it I witnessed a split across the middle !
It was awesome, it split two times in one day. I now have 3 bulb's and whats wild is they seperated for about 3 hrs and then bunched up together.

Once every third day. It was moving around. The basal disc is still bulbous, but I guess it was just trying to find a new place to hang its hat...
