Told him i would prepay him the 48- for the coral. I also asked if he would be updating the site, he said yes this weekend just some zoos. I said i will pay him the balance of 14- (box fee and heat packs) after i review the zoos to see if i want to add anything to the order. He also mentions to me that he cannot hold anything with out payment for longer than 48 hours. Payment sent on 1/21, didn't like anyting on his site sent 14- on 1/23. Been trying to contact him today all day, he does not pick up the phone nor reply to any of my emails. Trying to find out if he will ship the coral to me. 5:00PM rolls around and i get a refund for the coral. He mention in the email because i did not pay him the 14- in time the coral was sold. I'm thinking, i paid you the 14- in less than 48 hours, whats going on?

I really don't understand what happened, maybe he just didn't want to sell me the coral. He is so hard to get in touch with. I've prepaid vendors all the time to hold corals and paid the balance when everything was confirmed.

This guy is not honest, he has yet to contact me or return my calls, can't even give me an explanation. All because i didn't pay him for the 10- box charge and 4- heat pack he sells the coral to someone else???

I am extremely sadden by this because i was really looking forward to getting this coral because it was purple and my wife loves purple and was really looking forward to this.

I still can't believe nor understand what happened....

Becareful if you happen to deal with this guy.

That does suck, although I couldn't really see myself getting this bent outta shape about a $48 coral. I'm sure it'd be a much different story if it involved a colony of Crayola Table or those supposedly rare Acanthastrea that everyone and their cousin has (I still don't understand its appeal) :? .

This is pretty poor customer service, but it does appear to be consistent with his store policy. He does require credit card information and address to hold an order. You paid through PayPal, so I don't know if your cc info was given, too. Even though his policy doesn't leave him obligated, its still a dodgy way to treat a customer that has already paid for the product itself.

One unsatisfied customer to many happy..Its gonna happen from time to time...It sounds like a miscommunication between the two...I can understand about being upset..I had a miscommunication problem with Champion Lighting big time but all was settled and I dont recall badmouthing CL over the board...Sh*t happens and disappointment and aggrevation is expected..but big deal...

suck it up you big girly, signing up here for an account just to wank is lame. he got a customer who paid him, how is he supposed to know if you will ever complete your sale. i would have done the same thing all day long.

I think they should keep their BS complaints out of the forums. (I know people feel that way about some of my posts so huh....)

If its a legitatement complaint brought up for awareness of other potential buyers I think it can be useful...Word of mouth travels about good experiences here..why not bad ones...I say if the complaint is one bad one against a slew of good, no big deal...If it is many negative complaints, damn right Id like to hear it so I (and others) dont make the same mistake...

This is a guy who created an account here for the specific purpose of crying like Nancy Kerrigan and damaging this guy's business, all over a bloody coral. That's pitiful. It's not like he's out of pocket a single cent.

I've had unpleasant experiences with cquarium as well. I won't go into details, but adam and I don't jive.

I understand that....Im not saying the guy isnt over doing it with the complaint...I was just stating that if its legitamate then by all means let the world know...I guess I just went off on a different tangent :D
