cup coral receeding flesh from middle of cup

just wondering if i should be concerned. i've been watching the flesh receed from the middle of the cup outwards. although, none of the polyps seem affecteed yet. All of the polyps are extending during the day.

This tends to happen when the cup coral is very bowl shaped because the water within the bowl is relatively stagnent. Matter tends to settle inside the cup coral, from detritus to bacteria. To prevent this from occuring, make sure there is a lot of current that can get into the center of the coral, and it is a good idea to use a turkey baster once a week to clear out any collected sediments within the coral.
