My Mag 2 came with a sponge for the intake. Does that mean it can be used as a sponge filter (obviously seeded in my sump) for bio sponge filter in my QT?
I really don't see why not, I use a sponge that I have floating in my sump for when I QT things, I stick it in a cheapo filter, and it seems to do pretty well.
