This thread on Reef Central is too funny...and scary!

Here's one of the responces:

"I purposely bought a piece of live rock cuz it had a cool little anemone on it. It moved off the rock and attached to the substrate. I thought something was wrong so called lfs and they told me to feed it. I was eating soup that day for lunch and so took out a piece of beef, washed it and fed my pet anemone. It ate it, then spit it back out........Wonder why????? Months later found out it was an aiptasia and it had gotten to be the size of a quarter. Luckily, it never split and it was the only one I had in the tank. It was still on the substrate andI was able to get it out with no problems. Felt bad throwing it away though.......

When I was a kid I used to catch newts from a pond a few miles from my house - the green ones with red dots along their body? Anyways they loved beef potroast.

I really like this one:

"My LFS did a water test for me. He said I need to add calcium. So put a 2 cups of Vitiam D milk in it."
