Thinking about getting Golden Head Sleeper goby as getting some surface clumping and a little diatoms on my oolite DSB. Realizing the goby is a carnivore but can I expect it to clean up the DSB?
I have had trouble keeping these fish fat and healthy long term. They will turn over the sand and thus you will have a lot of sand in the water colum. The diatoms will clear up if this is a new tank or if you use RO/ DI h2o. Turbo snails and others clean up diatoms pretty well.
