6 line wrasse dead!

Purchased her on Wed.- didn't quar. her. Acclimated for 1 hr.- put her in reef tank. She's been a real joy to watch zipping in and out of the rocks. This morning she was zipping around, came home a little while ago, she was "resting" towards the bottom- as i neared she zipped off. Within 60 sec. she was lieing dead on th rocks. What happened?? I have a 155 gal with a firefish, (3) blue green chromis, lawn mower blanny, tiny white ray goby with a pistol shrimp friend.

where did you get it? I've heard that's cyanide caught fish will typically act like that, be fine then RIP.

Reliable in the past store. This is just too weird.

Unfortunately there is absolutely no way for anyone here to determine what happened to your fish- just too many possiblities. Could be anything from a cyanide crash, injury from a crab, a stroke of some sort.
My bet is cyanide.

How long does this take- he got them in the store on the 8th- this is the 20th. Only tiny hermit crabs in tank- are any of my fish suspect? I did a search and saw a lot of neg. things on the 6 line- books don't write him up that way.

I've seen 3 work on many, MANY occassions.

I had four. Two died and now I have two. Not much of a school though.

I'm not concerned- they've been together for months. I am adding 3 more though, just because they look cool (I had 6 orig.).
