Tunze Osmomat - Auto Top off???

Does anyone know if this unit will work as an auto-topoff system? Totally not a 'physics' person or whatever you call it, but it looked like this is what the unit is for.

If it wont work, can someone please explain why?

Also, if I get the multi controller, would that only be able to control Tunze powerheads??

Do tunze powerheads work with other wavemakers?

It is a auto topoff system, but designed for tanks that do not have a sump. If you have a sump you would use an Osmolator universal.

As for the multicontroller it will only control Tunze electronic pumps and the Tunze pumps cannot be used on any other brand of wavemaker.
