I currently have a Cyclone 192 wet/dry, converted to a sump essentially. I am not satisfied with the protein skimmer it has and am wanting to upgrade to a Euroreef. The specs for the Cyclone skimmer is it has a 6inch diameter (in-sump) and is about 20-22 inches tall. Now the Euroreef says its 'footprint' has a diameter of 10 by 11.5. Does this mean I cannot fit this because my diameter is only 6 inches and the partition in which my current skimmer is located is pretty tightly fit around the skimmer. The Euro cs6-2+ also says its diameter is also 6 inches and height of 24inches, so from that standpoint it seems like it would work....

Please someone help !

I would call up Euroreef and give them your specs they may be able to give you more help.

I have the same wet/dry that you do. The base of the Euroreef will not fit. You may be better off getting a different sump. Or using a external skimmer and dump the output into the Cyclone. This is what I have done with my Red Seas Berlin skimmer.

Thanks for the info. I figured it wouldnt fit - just wanted to double check. I am gonna go ahead and get a new sump so I can get the skimmer. Also an option to get an external skimmer but for space reasons, I think I'd rather have the in-sump. Thanks again.
