After a powerhead fell near him and sort of drained my condy of water, (he was quite shriveled), he proceeded to wedge himself between the glass and one of the very back rocks. Needless to say, this does NOT look like a good spot, since there is only ~.25" of room for tentacles to extend out. Should I leave him, or attempt to move this rock out and hope he walks off somewhere?

Actually, if a powerhead fell on him that can not be termed suicide and must instead be called murder. So, cooperate with authorities and help find the culprit so he/she/it can be held responsibile for this horrid crime :D

Why don't you move the rock so that he can get out and then leave him alone for a while and see if he recovers.

I say leave it be. It is hiding as a direct result of the injury. No need to add more stress.

My vote is also to leave him ... at least for a week or two. If he doesn't re-emerge in two weeks, I'd consider rearranging the rock so he's facing outwards (if possible move the rock instead of prying the anemone from it).

Leave him be. If he doesnt like where he is at he'll move. He is where hes at for a reason...he wants to be. :)

ahhhh... you're lucky the power head only fell on it... I hd a long tenticle get loose and got sucked into the intake.. had to rip a few tenticles to free it... it did recover and is very healthy now... I think the addition of the clown keeps it happy and it is less likely to move.

In response to evo, there is a clown in the tank, but Condylactis are atlantic anemones and therefore are not natural hosts to any clowns.

Update...

I cant say it had a fantastic recovery, and we're not even all the way there yet. It hasn't stayed in one spot for more than 18 hours, and I have never seen it expanded. This has been going on for about 3.5 weeks. He's definitely alive, as he has explored the entire left side of the tank, and currently he is back where he started. :?

Tips or anything I can do?

Update of the update...

It was there yesterday, but I looked closely and I can't find the anemone today. Anywhere. In the tank. I havent pulled up all the rockwork and I really dont want to, is this a reason to get worried?
