The tank is doing great. The frags are starting to grow nicely.

Looks like they are starting to crawl up the front glass. You could probably sell enough to pay for your bulbs when it is time to change them.

I bust it back with the magnet when I clean the glass.

It's about time for a bulb change. Doubt I can raise enough money selling Pocci's to pay for new bulbs.

How much are your bulbs? I use the $60ish bulbs (XM's, reeflux, etc). Around here you could get about $15 for a med frag of the ordinary stuff. I hope that one day I will be able to replace bulbs and buy salt with frag money.

I can't raise enough money to replace them on Pocci frags. Hell, I give that away to anyone local.

Now when I start fragging my LE's, then I'll be able to buy new bulbs and a whole lot more.

I fragged the following LE Monti's the other day: Superman, Pokerstar, Sunset and Flower Pot. Promblem is I think I'll keep them and start new colonies in my own tank. Especially the first three. They're awesome. :lol:

They are nice, but I am not willing to pay more per oz than a junkie does for crack on a coral frag. I'm doing my best to not pay more than $20 for a reasonable frag. So far so good. Only one that I paid more than that. Hopefully I can trade frags of that for other "nice" frags.

What you recieve when you frag is directly attributal to what you paid (assuming you didn't get screwed).

So it's all about what you want to get back out of your reef later. I consider my LE frags as investment and I believe that I'm going come out ahead in the long run. All of the frags that I paid top dollar for are still considered LE's and still fetching top dollar.
