hamilton mh lamps, 14k 400 watts

just ordered them, time for some new lighting. I am switching from their 10k bulb, I was wondering if anyone here is familiar with them. How "blue is it? etc...

K, What's up dude. I have a 14k on my tank and it rawks! Even without actincs, it looks good.

Yah I had the 14kK hams and there were great, I switched to 10kK XM bulbs because I wanted more lighting energy per watt and I'm really wishing I hadn't. The only problem I had with them is I never could tell when it was time to replace them because they stayed nice and blue for a long time, until I swapped them out and then I could tell how less bright they were.

I have them on my tank and I think they work great and it always gets lot's of comliments also.

I have Hamilton 14K 250W DE without actinics and I love the look. But again, I don't know any better.
