Does anyone have any info on Harlequin Serpent Starfish? Are they reefsafe? Hardy? Etc.... They are primarily white with black or very dark green bands on their legs and body. Thanks :D

Ophioderma appressum are hardy reef safe carnivore/detrivores. They feed primarily on dead organisms and fish feces but will consume uneaten foods.
They can grow upwards of 12" over time but will not harm small fish or other invertebrates.
Like all sea stars they are very sensitive to changes in S/G.

They're great. They're not real easy to come by these days either. Don't think aout it too long if you see one for sale. Snooze you lose.
