i know that reverse osmosis and or distilled water is good to use. can you use medical water, or water for injection. i guess this water has nothing in it. you can inject it into your body and nothing will happen to you, will it be good enough to replenish the salt water tank :?:

No. IV fluid is buffered and pH balanced for cellular osmosity, and that means it got pretty good high concentration of sodium, potassium and chlorine. Beside, it is a true waste of money since it is very strictly controlled for medicial application. It is a wasteful thing to do even if it is completely safe for fish tank.
It is probably RO/DI/UV water if it is indeed "has nothing in it." Still a waste for use in reef application unless it is more economical. I will not inject the RO/DI/UV water into my body. You need to use IV water that is properly buffered to ensure it won't cause electrolyte misbalance, which can kill you VERY FAST if you do not have the training.
It should be fine, but you need to make sure there is no contact with copper after the distillation and before you get it.
In one of the labs I worked, all the DI water is 100% plastic, down to the faucet. I won't use it for my reef, however. It is too much work to take it home, and my boss will not like it if he finds out.
BTW, like DI water, I bet your water is not suitable for human consumption, not even for making IV fluid.

you may be right seven i will ask more questions before i even think about using it. thanks for your help!
you can drink it, the only thing is your body is not use to it and because it is pure it will make you go number two. in a liquid state!! i know this to be true, because when i was in the NAVY we made the water and had to add chem so you didnt do the number two.
