Rotifers are pretty easy to keep, the most important thing I think is that you separate them into at least two cultures if you need a constant supply, because you will probably have one crash before you get into the groove of caring for them. (If you do get a crash, don't throw the bottle out, siphon off old water after debris settles, and fill with new water, they will repopulate, but it takes a while)

If it's for feeding corals and not feeding fish larvae then the freeze dried Rotifers are a whole lot easier to keep.

You know a friend of mine was doing it once and he had a bunch of green stuff at the bottom of his tank. What is that?

Live Rotifers require a constant supply of phytoplankton so the green stuff was probably Rotifer food.
