I just recently went out and bought 100lbs of rock to add to my 72 gallon and am wondering what is the best way to add it. I only have one fish and a sifting star "due to wanting more decor" So should I leave them in there while I due it or should I transfer them to a five gallon bucket with a heater and pump tel I am done? I also have about 2 inche's of sand bed so will that hurt the fish if it is some what stirred up?

You should be OK to add the rock while your fish and starfish are in there, just take care not to set a rock on them. A little bit of sand stirred up shouldn't hurt anything, just try not to be excessive about it.

I take it this was rock bought already cured at a fish store, and not shipped to you from far away.

Like Laura said. Make sure it is "cured". 100lbs is a lot too.. don't think you have to load it all in there! Also remember that with that much displacement your additives and so forth will be calculated different (or am I the only one that does that haha).

Good luck!

Let's see pics!
