I'm considering taking a leap and getting a mandarin to place in my 75. I have some questions about it before I do this.. I don't want to get this fish and have it end up dying in my system from the off. So.. here we go.
My tank is a 75 high, with a 15 gallon sump. I have sixty pounds of live rock in the tank. Surface area of the 4" dsb is 48x15. Is this enough forage room for a single mandarin?
My tank occupants are another concern for me. I have 1 green chromis, a mated pair of ocellaris, and a yellow tang. Are these fish too aggressive to place a mandarin in the system with?
The system is stable in terms of everything else, and is two years old. Are there any other questions I should be asking myself before I do this thing?
Thanks!
J.
