it has been "snowing" in my tank lately. it seems almost everyday a new layer of sand has landed on the green polips, surrounding rock, and especially the leather.

I can't seem to find much info on this, but are there any clown fishes that will take to a leather of this type?

what type of leather is it?

My clown has the bad habit to take to just about anything that really doesn't want her. She really pissed off the leather for a few months till the Kenya tree coral came into the tank. Now her favorite place to hang out is on the candy cane coral.

I think the solution to sand settling out on the corals is more flow in the tank. Stronger current should keep sediment from accumulating on corals and they will be healthier for it. In my experience, leathers really prefer strong flow.

Most clowns will host to anything if there is no anemone around. Ive seen clowns in torches and frogspawn as well as toadstools.
