Looking to upgrade, I've been running an AquaMedic 1000 reactor flawlessly for years but my water volume and CA consumption has maxed out its output. My water volume is about 500 gal. including display, frag tank and sump.

So my short list of pics would be:

Canreef 2-24 (looks really good and simple) http://www.canreef.com/store/reactor.php

The Deltec PF600s (a serious piece of hardware with a lot of features and a BIG price) http://www.deltecaquariumsolutions.com/calreactors.php

A Schuran Jetstream series 2 (Not so bling as a Deltec but seems to be pretty solid) http://schuran.com/seawater/hobby_reaktoren_e.html

The Aqua Medic 5000 (my last one was great, this is bigger and better)
http://www.aqua-medic.de/index0.html

So if any one has any thing to say about the above or has another choice of a top line calcium reactor they think kicks ass please let me know.

Thanks
Dave

Marinedepot markets the Koralin systems. I have a buddy whp has one and loves it. It is very simple to run. it came all together. he added the media tuned the bubble count and that is it. never touched it since. He added one of those tall CO2 bottles in the garage. so he is comming up on 3 years with no CO2 refill.

That's it, pretty quiet it's your chance to slam or hype up some products. Nobody using any of my product choices?

-LA-Lawman I'll look in to that reactor a bit more, thanks.

If you go korallin expect to swap out the fittings for JG and add a needle pvc valve, the airline tubing fittings it comes with as well as the pinch vavle are hard to keep any type of consistent flow (aka crap). With those mods, it is a good reactor. I can get ~50dkh effluent and pretty much set it and forget it for weeks at a time.
