My tank was up for almost 4 months before I added 2 clown fish and two shrimp. Everything seems fine 3 weeks later. No big spike in ammonia or nitrates.

When would it be ok to add more fish? I do not want the hole thing to crash!

I think you have waited long enough between additions to add another fish.

Provided of course you have a large enough tank to accomodate a new fish.

I have a 60 gallon and two clowns and two shrimp. I was thinking of adding a fridmani and a flame angel.

What kind of shrimp? Cleaner shrimp should be fine I think but not the very small shrimps.

I hear that dottybacks will go after shrimp but if they are in there first, and not itty bitty, I would think a Pseudochromis fridmani would be fine with something like a cleaner. I had some larger peppermints with mine and they did not disappear.

You can put a flame angel and a fridmani dottyback in with two clowns in a 60. I would expect that to be a nice group of fish.

Thanks!

Yes, one is a cleaner shrimp and the other is a blood red shrimp! They are both very large in size.
