Thats the ticket right there. Once i started dosing Kalk and kept my Alk in check i noticed the corraline booming. Actinics really seem to get it going. Scraping it into the water column helps to spread it too.

you know, i never used kalk and had coralline all over my tank. go figure. i never used it because it scared me. :lol:

really it is not that bad. it is not scary. it is scary when you miss use it. PH increase out the wah-zoo!

Kalk is best used with patients and water testing. Once you get a feel for kalk you feel very trusting and rely on it.

sloowww drips. I do about 1 drip every 3 seconds. My tank and your tank might be differnt. Calcium and Carbonate usages can vary from tank-to-tank.
