They are accepting dontations of a new GPS, depthfinder and charts. If anyone knows of a Captain that hasnt been sniffing the green stuff they'd probably be interested in that too[/url]

 Gotta love the brilliance that is Green Peace. Way to save those coral reefs amigos!! LOL

I would say that Bush's policies are all wrong because he got into a fender-bender on the way to the airport, but I guess that would only be sump worthy. :P

Trying to protect the environment and eliminate nuclear weapons don't seem like such bad goals to me; why the derision?

Hey I just figured it out. The Rainbow Warrior II was hijacked by the penguins from Madagascar. They were freed from the zoo and were going to be released at the South Pole. They did not want to wait and wanted to go some place warm. Since it is a well know fact that penguins cannot read navigational charts, that is the reason for the accident. Greenpeace cannot publicly say that their flag ship was hijacked so they are taking the heat for this. See it makes since.

Because they busted into the very thing they protect?

Did you read the article before you posted?

Sure, I read the article maybe a week ago. It was an accident. But people seem so gleeful; I guess they hate Greenpeace for some reason. Is it like PETA or something?

If you ever get the pleasure of running into greenpeace in the northwest you will understand my disdain for them. They are a bunch of wackos in my opinion which is of course a total generalization I understand, but in my opinion they are as radical and loony as the terrorists we face. I have seen them chain themselves to drawbridges, try and blockade fishing vessels in dingys and zodiacs, assault police and coast guard, throw blood on hunters and sportsman at an expo, etc etc etc. The best thing I ever saw a person from greenpeace do was put their boat in front of a coast guard cutter at full speed and get completely crushed.

Oh, now surely you are mixing them up with PETA here. I was just looking on their website and its all about fighting pollution and nuclear weapons (and power).

Yes, they do like to chain themselves to things. And I guess they seem pretty loony. But keep in mind that if it weren't for passionate environmentalists we'd all be living in a toilet by now.

its funny nuke power is cleanest and safest thing there is... then just throw the waste into a desert where it wont hurt anything. ( if ya do it right)
or oneday sending it all to the sun ^^ but do they really prefer oil.

nuke = very small chance of melt down or leakage.
oil = global warmingm, spilling, fires,///
