i have a 29 gallon reef tank with two percula clowns, a falco's hawk and a royal gramma, a coral banded shrimp and a cleanup crew.. i recently ordered a yellow rose goby (Stonogobiops xanthorhinica) from the store i work at for the final addition to the tank.. he came in much smaller than i expected, about 1 1/2 inches and i am worried that my hawkfish might try to eat him? i know the falco's are one of the less aggressive species.. but im not sure if i should try to bring the goby home or not..

any suggestions? ive never seen him pick on my coral banded shrimp or any of the fish in my tank.. but i want to be sure so i dont kill my goby..

Chances are, you're safe. There's no way your C.falco can swallow 1 1/2" worth of fish, and I doubt it'll harass it either (esp given his gentle disposition ... not having bugged your CBS).
