I dont know, its here some wher I guess LOL!!!
Yes they are the only ones that make the "mesoscpoe".
Some times I forget my self and type in the last few lines of what ever I am thinking leaving a huge gap in relation to what I ment ! LOL!!!!!
( I know very bad habbit especialy in a forum!!! :) )

I used a small Vivitar field scope, it seemed to give the same results.
So do add-on macro lense's if your camera can accept them.
Here is an upclose shot taken through a vivitar elchepo spotting scope.
Its an up close shot of a superman tonga shroom.

I just though I might be able to offer you a cheaper but effective alternative.

I am also interested in the fieldscope, what magnification and dimensions are it, I have been looking for Vivitar Fieldscopes but they all say they have been discontinued. Let us know please. And thanks for any help you can provide, those are awesome photos. ---Rick

The optics is not very good (hey, it suppose to be for grade school students), and you can put it in a DIY water-tight housing for underwater photomicrography.

seven ephors: thats pretty cool actualy! how much are they and where can I get one?

Dawn:
No need to mount it. Just press it against your glass.
You have to buy a camera adapter for the scope though, AND a camera that has very good macro to begin with if you want to photograph through it.
I dont think they make the model I have/had any more?
Here is a nice little scope with 8x mag. http://www.opticsplanet.net/atngoleye8xs.html
This is sorta neat too. http://www.opticsplanet.net/bushnell-8x ... cular.html

Ok- I'm confused. Which ones are you talking about when you say:
(1) Just press against glass, (2) Need camera adaptor for scope(which one) (3) optics made for grade schoolers? I have a Nikon N80, a Canon Powershot G5, and a Minolta. What I really want to do is view things very closely regards, dawn.

Press any of them directly against the glass to simply view them.
Top snap pics with any of them use a tripod, and a camera adapter.

Very nice photos- I am not familiar with a field scope- how big of an area can you view, does it need to be mounted on a tridod, and what model is it? I don't want it for photos, just for viewing.

Hi Dawn,

The Mesoscope was developed for viewing the microcosm of life that exists in reef tanks, it is unique product that no other optical product can match.

If you require any further information please pm me.

Regards,

Barry.
