i have a 29 gallon thats been empty for a while and i finally want ot put it up. i was planning on making it a display for a Valentini Puffer and some other small fish. i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the guys and what you think. ive heard that theyre typically docile and can go with other docile fish. i probably want to do some clowns a pygmy angel and a dusky jawfish. that type of thing. i also contemplated making it a FOWLR tank but would this be beneficial or not?

AC 50 mods are for nanos less than 10 gallons. They turn it in toanHOB refugium.
Most HOB skimmer mods include a larger pump,and or the replacement of
The stock impeller with a home made needle wheel, or simply placing an air valve in line with the pump air intake hose ( IE prizm HOB skimmer).
With a seaclone you can shorten the inner tube to make it skim more effectively.
HOB canister mods? dont know of any actualy?
I would highly sugest using a sump or a refugium though over any thing HOB witha FOWLR tank. You can hide your heater out of harms way ( some times your fish will smack in to them and break them!)
You can grow macro, and pods for food ( Tangs and mandarins)
You can more effectivly filter your tank and it would allow room for a proper skimmer ( IE in sump).
