G'day and Happy Easter,

over the break we were away, and a cicuit in our home blew outing the power on all my tanks.
We lost some tropicals and my pair of Darwin Occy's absolutely filthy over it.

My main question is how will my live rock be with a temp drop to 13.4degrees celcius?

And will it affect my tank in its cycle?

Regards Darren

P.S. The bloody mantis shrimp still survived lol

I would also buy a couple UPS's. It's great when power goes out and can keep the pumps going. I am also planning on getting an aquacontroller eventually also........

.....and as for power we are on wind generators, so power wont go out.....

even on still days there is enough :)

D'oh! Regardless... sorry to hear about your incident. You will definately have some die off in your LR, so your cycle will take longer now. Follow it with some test kits to know when you're back on track (when Ammonia and Nitrites are down to 0)
