For equipment...

Get an AquaC remora instead of a BakPak.. It's well worth it.

Get a higher wattage light for keeping things... preferably a 4x 96w fixture.

For livestock...

Don't get the yellow tang, that tank is too small.

Don't get the anthias, you'll have an extremely hard time feeding it, and they do best in groups in much larger tanks.

Don't get the rose bubble tip anemone till the tank is setup for a while, and also you may need to get metal halide to keep it.

Otherwise it all looks good!

Is the Bakpak part of the packaged deal you talked to me about in #reefs? If so, it is okay. AquaC remoras are better, but you can get the Bakpak to work. A modification to have it powered by airstones makes it a much better skimmer IMO.

Personally, I think a small yellow tang is fine, but it will definitely outgrow your tank in time.

Upgrade your lighting so you will be able to keep all sorts of livestock.

Usally the more expensive equipment is worth it. For example, MH and PC system, a bigger skimmer, sump..ect. Gives you more flexiability to change as you and your hobby grows.

Athenias can be hard true.

Yellow tang is fine. Get a small one though so he can grow into your tank.

I am keeping a yellow tang and a sailfin tang in a 55 gallon tank and they are fine. Both at 7-8 inches...they fought for a while, but now they are cool with each other, but occasionally get into fights.

i really don't care about sps corals or the anemone really, the coral i listed are the only ones im going to get, i like softies the best anyways, i don't really have room for a sump, i will barely get the 55g in my room. you can keep 2 tangs in a 55g? and about the RBTA, i doub't i will even get one anways. im sure the clowns will host something else.i know they don't need a host but it would be interesting to see.

I think it's gonna be a great success! If you don't mind me asking, what crashed the 10G?
