What do you think about this method of reef keeping?

Luck that these guys got really colorful tanks? Or is it their method that works for them?

The SPS tanks look almost un-natural in appearence, so bright. Just when you think you seen everything...

I know people who use zeovit its expensive, lots of work and slow process, but it does work.

IMO not using zeovit also works.

Look at any boards 'tank of the month'. Most of them don't use zeo.

Oh, it is one of those "system" where you buy a bunch of additives and filter media (zeolite, a type of aluminium-based mud) from them. Think of it as a type of franchise, but it is still up to you to make sure you have a good location and do your managment properly, and do put chopped off finger in the chilli.

Not related, since the MM suppose to release essential minerals to the tank, while the ZEOvit is a filtration media that absorbs unwanted nutrients. But, yeah, the business model is very similar.
